Thank you for your concern. Unfortunately, A LOT of the confessions contain misinformation. I’d say 3 of the most prominent examples are:
1. People mistaking imported shows as Disney Channel shows (same goes for movies that played on Disney, but were not DCOMs)
2. People calling So Random a rip off of The Amanda Show/All That when it’s from one of the same writers/creators of both shows (it’s not a rip off, it’s a reworking/recycling of a previous program).
3. People confessing they must be the only one who remembers/thinks something when there have been confessions about the same thing on here previously.
Anyways, we only correct the most obvious things like characters names being spelled wrong since we’ve taken up a policy of no censorship. And if we were to delete this confession, no matter how blatantly wrong, we would have to go through and delete many others :/
However, if a confessee (I’m assuming you didn’t personally submit the confession, but if you did, please correct me) ever wants us to delete one of their confessions, they have every right to ask, so long as they do so off of anon (because I’m afraid I don’t want to give anons that power). I realize sometimes the negative backlash on confessions might be overwhelming for some, so there is always that option. Also, when a person asks to have a confession pulled, we won’t make a public spectacle of it by publishing the ask or anything. We will discreetly delete it and no one, but us mods will know who the original confessor was (and we get so many confessions that aren’t anon and see so many usernames, that we’ll probably forget immediately lol).
So, it is up to the confessee to ask us to delete it if they decided, in this case, that they were wrong and would like to have it pulled.
I’m sorry for not being more helpful. However, I am glad that you pointed out the misinformation so we could post it here for others to see. While, this episode has already been pulled anyhow due to Angus’ other comment about only eating one full meal a week, you’re absolutely right that he does not say “Team Bulimic” but instead “Ten! Eleven!” I guess it was the timing of it, coming right after his comment about not eating, and his accent that caused some to think that’s what he had said.
While the episode this mistake is from has already been pulled for the time being, people can still see this sketch in its entirety here (on YouTube) and judge for themselves.
Again, thank you for your concern. I’d also like to go on the record and say I absolutely agree that the show gets more hate than it deserves. It’s not my favorite, but it’s not any worse than All That/The Amanda Show (especially the latter), only different.
